Shure Radio Company is founded on April 25 of that year by Sidney N. Shure as a sole proprietorship sells kits radio components before they started to be marketed devices complete radio. In the three years since, Shure continued to grow until a staff of 75 employees.

Shure is awarded in 2003 with a technical GRAMMY award for the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences®, awarded by the Recording Academy to persons and / or companies that have made a significant contribution and great technical relevance to industry recordings.
