AR2412 is the primary AudioRack for Allen & Heath GLD, SQ and Qu digital mixing systems. AR2412 provides 24 inputs via XLR connectors and 12 outputs, also via XLR. The connection is made through a Cat5 cable, using the dSNAKE communication protocol, exclusive to Allen & Heath, which allows the AR2412 module to be placed at a distance of up to 120 meters from the mixer. dSNAKE allows remote preamp control, and all mic preamps are recallable via scenes. For larger systems, an AR84 AudioRack Expander can be connected to the AR2412 to add up to 8 XLR inputs and 4 XLR outputs. The unit also features an Aviom compatible monitor port.
