More info

The ultra-compact Qu-SB digital mixer has been designed to be controlled from an iPad, giving the user the freedom to mix from anywhere in the room, and provides a smart, easily transportable solution for all types of bands, AV applications and installation . The Qu-Pad app offers an elegant and intuitive mixing interface, providing access to the full wealth of Qu features and configuration options. In addition to its 18 inputs and 14 outputs, Qu-SB can be expanded up to 32 mono inputs and 24 outputs by connecting it to one of the models offered by the AudioRacks family, using a Cat5 cable. If we add to this the Qu-You app that offers control over personal monitoring for Android and iOS, in addition to the ME-1 personal mixers, Qu-SB reveals itself as a fantastic choice for bands looking for the same sound quality in your monitors in any situation. Qu-Pad Mixing App Qu-SB has been designed to integrate seamlessly with the Qu-Pad app for iPad, providing extremely fast and easy access to all settings, including channel processing, RTA meters and displays, FX racks , scene management, USB audio control, setup menus and much more. Qu-Pad connects to the mixer via Wi-Fi and gives the user the freedom to adjust monitors on stage, move around the venue while listening to the PA, and mix the performance from the center of the audience. AnalogiQTM Preamplifiers The 16 AnalogiQTM preamplifiers with total recall that Qu-SB incorporates, offer zero crossing detection, and a padless gain stage, in 1 dB steps, associated with the DSP to offer maximum gain precision and maximum transparency in the audio signal. The analog signal is captured by high quality A/D converters, with 24 bit resolution. The AnalogiQTM design has been refined over several months to deliver exceptional transparency, minimal distortion, and an ultra-low noise floor, with a warm, musical sound unheard of in most digital consoles. Qu-Drive Qu has an integrated USB recorder, which provides 18 channels of recording and playback with 48 kHz, 24 bit resolution directly to a USB drive. Along with the channels, the mixes and FX returns can also be recorded, so that it is possible to do virtual sound checks. A separate set of controls allows for quick stereo recording from the main LR output or mix outputs, and a 2-track USB return can be routed to ST3 for stereo WAV file playback. iLive FX Qu-SB's FX and dynamics algorithms are derived from the FX used in the iLive series. Many of the world's most respected audio engineers have chosen to use iLIve FX on international tours. Qu-SB features 4 iLive stereo FX engines, including excellent emulations of classic reverb effects, gated reverbs, delays, modulators, flangers and much more. Automatic Mic Mixer (AMM) AMM is vital in applications such as conferences, meetings and debates, where many microphones are open simultaneously, reducing background noise and minimizing the risk of acoustic feedback. The Automatic Microphone Mixer helps the engineer manage multiple microphone inputs. You can mix up to 16 microphone sources simultaneously, with priority adjustment for each channel, which determines its 'weight' in the total system gain. USB Audio Straming The Qu-SB's built-in interface can stream up to 32 selected tracks to a Mac or PC computer. Returns from your Mac or PC can be easily assigned to input channels. The interface is directly compatible with Mac OS X (truly plug and play). It will be recognized directly by any DAW that supports Core Audio, including Logic, Cubase, Reaper and Pro Tools. For Windows computers, ASIO and WDM drivers are available. Standard MIDI control is tunneled over the USB connection, so the user can easily map the faders to the tracks in their DAW. A DAW control driver is available to easily configure and emulate HUI or Mackie protocols on Mac OS Cat5 to remote AudioRacks AB168, AR2412 or AR84. dSNAKE is an exclusive networking solution from A&H, offering transport latency of only 105us on cables up to 120m long.so the user can easily map the faders to the tracks in their DAW.
