The ZED-6FX provides Allen & Heath's renewed excellence in construction and audio quality in a compact and portable format, making it the ideal solution for musicians, singers, songwriters and small venues. Incorporating the new GSPre pramplifiers, developed from the revered GS-R24 studio console, the ZED mixer features exceptionally low noise and a very high headroom, with a warm, deep analogue sound. ZED-6FX is the first mixer to include a specially created suite of studio-quality reverbs, delays and special multi-mode FX, created by the experts on the Allen & Heath team. Guitarists will find the ZED-6FX's two high-impedance guitar DI inputs especially interesting, allowing guitars to be connected directly to the mixer without the need for expensive external DI boxes. All ZED mixers have been designed and built to meet the high demands that Allen & Health sets for their products to withstand the rigors of touring use. All channels are housed on individual, vertically mounted printed circuit boards, and all rotary controls are secured to the front panel with a steel nut to protect against impact damage.
