ZED-12FX is a small format stereo mixer, equipped with USB and an effects unit, intended for live sound, recording and production. It has 6 mono channels and 3 stereo channels. They also incorporate the new DuoPre preamplifier, which uses a two-stage design, each with carefully controlled gain. The USB audio interface allows different signals to be sent through USB, from LR or from the auxiliary buses. The USB return signal can be sent directly to the LR mix or to a stereo channel. It is equipped with 4 auxiliary sends; two pre-fader type and two post-fader type; The first two can be sent to the USB bus, allowing pre-fader signal recording independently of the main mix. The latter can also be sent to the USB bus to be used as an effects send. These mixers have been built using independent circuits mounted vertically, with each of the potentiometers fixed to the front panel by means of a metal nut, which provides greater robustness to the product.
