REVAMP1680 is a 16-channel digital power amplifier, offering 16 channels each with a power of 80 W over 4 ohm. It can also be configured in bridge mode to obtain 8 outputs of 160 W over 8 ohms each. In 3U rack format, this powerful amplifier offers a large separation between channels and has a dual analog power supply, equipped with toroidal transformers. The power consumption at rest is very low: less than 0.5 W. Another of the most interesting features offered by the REVAMP1680 is the switching mode of the power supply, which has multiple on and off options. It is possible to turn the unit on and off from a trigger input, by audio detection, etc. The trigger input is ideal when the user wants to turn on the amplifier automatically, using an external AC or DC signal from the audio system or the control system. The amplifier will be put into operation as soon as the trigger voltage is present. Alternatively, the ignition mode switch can be set to the audio trigger position; in this, the amplifier will turn on automatically when an audio signal of sufficient level is present in the input, and it will turn off automatically after a few minutes of silence, that is, of absence of signal. This amplifier is equipped with two stereo bus inputs with pass-through. These bus inputs are very useful when the user wants to hear the same audio signal in different output areas, with the advantage that fewer cables are needed and the installation can be done very quickly.
