ORIA is the world's first audio interface and monitor controller designed specifically with immersive audio in mind. Created to produce immersive audio mixes for formats such as Dolby Atmos, ORIA allows you to calibrate, control and monitor multi-channel speaker systems, from stereo to 9.1.6. It is perfect for music, film, television, gaming and virtual reality production. Designed for dual purpose, ORIA is not only a powerful USB-C audio interface with 16 outputs, but can also be integrated into an existing studio setup, as a stand-alone monitor controller, via its ADAT inputs or optional Dante card. Working with multi-channel speaker systems requires a perfectly calibrated room, and ORIA's advanced speaker processing allows users to create up to 32 custom built-in calibration profiles (presets) for any monitoring format, using 8-band EQ, speaker delay , adjustment and bass management tools per channel, ensuring that the listening room always remains perfectly calibrated for different formats, such as stereo, 5.1 or immersive. It is possible to calibrate the room in two different ways: by creating a profile manually, taking the appropriate measurements and entering the calibration settings, or with the help of Sonarworks. Audient has reached a collaboration agreement with calibration experts Sonarworks to allow users to upload SoundID reference profiles directly to ORIA hardware, giving them the ability to measure and calibrate their listening room in less than an hour. ORIA ships with a Sonarworks measurement reference microphone and a free 60-day trial of SoundID Reference software for multichannel, both included in the box. If users wish to continue after the free trial, they can purchase a full SoundID Reference license for multichannel separately and continue running Sonarworks Profiles through ORIA hardware. Audient has also reached agreements with Dolby, thanks to which ORIA is officially integrated with Dolby Renderer, allowing the user to take control of the Down Mix functionality of the renderer directly from the ORIA user interface. This is ideal for quickly switching between different monitor mix formats, such as 7.1, 5.1, stereo, and others, without having to jump between your project and the renderer. All of ORIA's advanced speaker processing, whether through manual calibrations or Sonarworks, runs directly from its ultra-fast integrated dual DSP processor architecture. It offers low latency audio and frees up the user's computer CPU to handle larger, more demanding sessions. An easy-to-use, automated guide helps the user measure and calibrate their studio speakers, using the microphone that ships with the system. It allows you to quickly switch between speakers, listening levels and curves, all with the touch of a button. You can use color-coded speaker groups, mute or solo individual speakers or groups of them, and control overall volume and Cut/Dim. And for those working in post-production, a Global Lip Sync delay has also been provided to perfectly align the sound with the image. Allows you to view measurements from multiple locations, including the ORIA front panel, LCD screen, desktop software or from a remote control iPad, thanks to the ORIA iPad Control App. This guarantees remote access to all ORIA control possibilities: adjust levels, speaker selection, change profiles and view measurements. With a wide range of connectivity options, ORIA provides more than enough I/O for professional multi-channel setups. You can connect your surround speakers via the line or AES outputs, your nearfield speakers to the dedicated stereo outputs, and easily integrate an external interface or preamplifier using the ADAT inputs. Surround Outputs: 16 balanced analog outputs for monitoring up to 9.1.6. AES Outputs: 8 pairs of AES digital outputs for connection to digital speakers Dedicated Stereo Outputs: Stereo outputs for non-immersive near-field speakers Word Clock Input and Output: BNC connections to allow integration into larger installations ADAT Inputs: 16 input channels ADAT for use as an external 9.1.6 monitoring controller or conventional multi-channel recording Optional Dante inputs: Allows integration into AoIP workflows USB - Connected via a high-speed USB connection, ORIA offers ultra-low latency monitoring, and a solid and reliable controller connection with both macOS and Windows. The optional Dante card provides up to 16 input channels over AoIP, allowing it to easily integrate into new or existing AoIP networks, making it the ideal solution for moving to immersive sound in large studios or educational facilities. Thanks to a huge dynamic range of 126 dB, mixes will sound more detailed than ever with ORIA's high-performance AD/DA converters. It has been created to offer the most honest translation of sound, helping you hear subtle details, identify complex problems and make better mixing decisions. Designed to deliver ultra-low noise and low distortion with a touch of classic analog warmth, the ORIA's two mic preamps, identical to those found in the Audient console, offer 60 dB of gain and function as mic, line or Hi instrument inputs. -Z, providing a clean, accurate and faithful translation to the sound source. And for the first time, the Audient console's mic preamp is now remote, optimized to deliver the sonic benefits of its all-analog design, along with precise, precise digital control. An 8mm thick front panel and solid steel design ensure ORIA is ready to withstand the wear and tear of the studio, and its fanless design makes it completely silent in operation, ready to be placed inside a studio.
