The word Pro in the name reflects the exciting HSS pickup configuration, a pair of Seymour Duncan SSL-2s in the neck and middle positions, plus a Seymour Duncan Saturday Night Special in the bridge. SSL-2 single pickups feature flat pole pieces, creating a naturally thicker sound than traditional single pickups. The Saturday Night Special is a classic humbucker that uses Alnico 4 magnets for fat, late '70s sounds: balanced with distortion, with plenty of body and clarity in the clean sound. But that's not all...The letter T on the guitar name means Tremolo. The Session T-Pro is equipped with our proven Godin Tru-Loc bridge system, plus Godin 18:1 locking tuners, ensuring maximum tuning stability.With the push-pull switch on the tone pot, you can convert the Saturday Night Special to a single pickup for an SSS setup. We mounted the center SSL-2 with reversed pole, providing the typical sound of a single coil pickup without background noise. These excellent pickups with 5-way switch make the Godin Session T-Pro incredibly versatile. The specially designed Godin finish makes the guitar look better while allowing the wood to vibrate, enhancing the natural acoustics of the Godin Session T-Pro .
