To achieve this on the Session R-HT PRO, we chose Seymour Duncan '59 SH-1b (Bourbon Burst and Retro Orange) and Custom Seymour Duncan SH-11 (Carbon White) pickups for the bridge, and two Lace Sensor Hot Gold for the middle and the neck. The combination of these three excellent "made in USA" pickups, along with a 5-position, volume and tone selector, gives this guitar a very powerful tonal range. In fact, you can play this guitar in all situations and musical styles, whether in the studio or on stage. Made entirely in Canada, the Godin Session R-HT PRO features a basswood body and a hard maple neck with a rosewood fingerboard. "Acoustically treated" matte finish and the use of a fixed bridge with holes through the body allows the strings to vibrate more freely, improving both the sustain and natural resonance of the guitar.
