TOWER FOR THE SOUND LIFT

Reinforced modular tower designed for lifting sound systems (Line Array) up to 500 kg at a maximum height of 6.43 m. Its new compact design with wheels allows maximum maneuverability with minimal storage space (a complete unit is stored and transported in just 1.53 m³). The new TMD-545 Modular Tower is the perfect solution for itinerant assemblies, tours, etc.

MODULAR MAST

Modular structure of compact design composed of four stackable aluminum trusses TA500-1500 of 500 x 500 x 1500 mm (Ø50 x 2.5 mm). The mast is equipped with two TA500-BZ1 reinforcement arms with aluminum clamps (ABZ-24).

These trusses, made of extruded aluminum (alloy: EN-AW 6082 T6 according to standard UNE-EN573) with TIG welding of running bead for greater strength and safety, are specially designed to be stacked, thereby reducing your storage space and turning the tower into a practical mounting element, not very bulky and easy to transport.

The joining of the sections is carried out by means of a fast anchoring system composed of females with bolts and conical pins that guarantee a perfect fit of the assembled sections.

ELEVATION

The trusses are assembled on the ground for later, thanks to the self-braking winch and the hinge system installed in the base, to raise the structure to its working position without any effort since all the work is done by the winch; guaranteeing a fast and simple elevation and subsequent dejection of the structure.
The self-braking winch prevents recoil and paralyzes the load at the desired height. It is certified for a maximum load of 900 kg.

The winch specially manufactured for lifting loads, is equipped with a removable lever to avoid any manipulation during the event and allow a convenient transport and storage of the tower.

The sound system (Line Array) is lifted using a manual chain hoist approved for 2000 Kg (CE), equipped with 6 meters of load chain and 6 meters of chain of command. Note: Includes reinforced chain carrier bag Ref. BLC-01.

HEAD

The front part of the head performs two functions:

1. It acts as a support for the placement of the chain hoist. It allows to place the 2000 kg hoist through which the Line Array system is lifted without any effort.
2. Lets you tilt the sound system (Line Array). Its length of 760 mm, together with the 3º inclination that has been given to the new modular structure, allows the sound equipment to be tilted.

The back of the head performs two functions:

1. Allows you to place the winch safety hook. The winch together with the hinge system located at the base of the tower, allows the entire structure to be raised to its working position without any effort.
2. It acts as a counterweight to the structure. Once the tower is placed in its working position, the winch is operated until the cable is tensioned, but without forcing it, thus performing the counterweight function.

BASE

Its new compact base (640 x 1190 mm) is designed to be able to store and transport all the necessary components for the assembly of the lifting tower.
Thanks to its easy handling, convenient transportation and quick assembly, the new TMD-545 Sound Lifting Tower can be considered one of the most functional structures on the market.

The base, provided with bubble level, and its four removable stabilizing legs are equipped with seven leveling spindles, double speed, with non-slip discs that guarantee a perfect adjustment of the tower to all types of surfaces. For a comfortable and simple operation, the new TMD-545 tower is equipped with four heavy-duty rotating wheels of 100 mm diameter.

Its reinforced base made of steel (ST52-3 according to DIN-2393) with a textured anthracite gray anti-scratch paint finish, allows us to store all tower components in a single block; reducing its volume of storage and transport and avoiding the loss of any component of the tower.

MAXIMUM SECURITY

The TMD-545 modular tower is manufactured using the most advanced welding equipment (TIG / MIG), carefully selecting the materials used and controlling the quality of all its components during its manufacture. This guarantees maximum safety and resistance, complying at all times with the requirements of solidity, lightness and maneuverability necessary for the elevation of sound equipment that, together with its practical stackable design, makes this tower a very practical element for assemblies temporary (both indoors and outdoors) where transport and storage space are essential.

Important: For mounting outdoors, the structure must be secured by cables, slings, chains, etc.… that avoid any unexpected movement due to strong wind.
