The secret to the M80 is a patented floating humbucker system that acts as a 3D guitar body sensor. When the body resonates, the pickup suspension responds with the movement of the guitar, capturing the sound like no other pickup. You have the possibility of using it as an active or passive pickup with just one click. In active mode it improves the characteristics of your preamp since it has a built-in EQ and high fidelity circuit. In passive mode you can put the preamp on bypass to use it without battery.
