The Luna High Tide series of ukes are inspired by the full moon at the first fret, which causes the wavy abalone fret markers below to "rise" as we move up the fretboard toward the pull of the moon. They are made from exotic tropical hardwoods and feature a mouth framed by an abalone rosette. This beautiful ukulele features a koa body, which along with the size of the tenor body, produces a full, deep sound. It incorporates a Luna UK-T2 preamplification system with a built-in tuner. The cutaway offers comfortable access to the upper register frets, and the mahogany neck, bridge and walnut fingerboard add lasting sustain and clarity to your sound. Open-style tuners keep the instrument in precise tune and the built-in preamp provides amplification that can be easily and quickly adjusted.
