This tattoo concert uke with spruce top offers a unique perspective with an alternative background for the laser-etched tattoo design, which is inspired by Hawaiian body ornamentation. Through the inking process, ancient Polynesians believed they were getting closer to the divine while making a statement of boldness. The patterns and design were strongly geometric with many shapes and symbols representative of the natural world of the island: stones, waves, fish, sharks, turtles, rain, sun, birds. This design is mainly based on waves and sharks' teeth, which also appear as fret markers. The concert mahogany body, spruce top and walnut fingerboard provide a warm tone. Includes case.
