More info
This Tattoo Tenor takes its design from the ancient traditional Hawaiian body ornamentation and is inspired by the Pacific Islands. The motifs and design were strongly geometric and there were many shapes and symbols representing the natural world of the island: stones, waves, fish, sharks, turtles, rain, sun and birds. This design is based on a Hawaiian turtle (honu), a symbol of longevity and resilience depicted in a Polynesian tattoo style. The fret markers are stylized shark teeth. This tenor uke has a clear and resonant sound, both due to its tenor body and its mahogany construction. Includes case.
