USB AUDIO INTERFACE During the fall of 2019 MOTU announced the launch of its new M2 and M4 USB interfaces, for Mac, Windows and iOS that offer the best audio quality imaginable, the best (ultra-low) latency and the best signal measurement in its category incorporating a fantastic full color LCD screen for this purpose. With two and four channels of audio I/O respectively, the M2 and M4 include individual 48V phantom power on both mic inputs, mono and stereo (direct) hardware monitoring, and MIDI input and output among other features.

Equipped with the same ESS Sabre32 Ultra™ DAC conversion technology found in audio interfaces costing thousands of dollars, the M2 and M4 deliver an astounding 120dB of dynamic range on their outputs. ESS converters also control the headphone output, allowing them to compete in playback quality with dedicated audiophile headphone amplifiers costing hundreds of dollars. Thanks to USB drivers designed by MOTU's expert programmers, the M2 and M4 offer an ultra-low send and return latency of 2.5ms total that will be class-leading (buffer set to 32 samples at 96kHz). . The M2 and M4 are the only audio interfaces in their class with a full-color, high-resolution LCD screen with clear, detailed level meters for all of its inputs and outputs.
